Associate Cloud Engineer(2A)

Competencies: Knowledge of AWS, SQL, UNIX/LINUX and Oracle, Postgres or SQL Server databases.

Education and experience required:

• Bachelor of Engineering – Computer Science / Information Science (or) Master of Computer Application (MCA).
• 1 to 3yrs of working experience.
• AWS Certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills: Business Management Skills, Problem Solving and Analytical Ability, Presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely on code deployments using tools like Jenkins in all customer-facing environments.
• Work on tickets related to issues on platform or deployment and resolve in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation. Ability in writing and executing Installation Qualifications (IQs), Operational Qualification (OQs).
• Troubleshoot minor and major application issues/ problems in a timely manner.
• Perform system administration tasks on cloud architecture like application restarts, monitoring application instances and system loads, user management, Monitor application and database servers etc.
• Work with system/database administrators and development team to resolve issues.
• Develop SQL queries to fetch the data.
• Support upgrading activities along with day-to-day operational assistance.
• Independently handles operations and does risk management & mitigation.
• Excellent analytical reasoning and practical decision making, combined with an ability to communicate across a broad range of business functions and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to specify technical changes to technical/cross functional teams.
• Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications).
• Experience or knowledge with AWS cloud environment sizing, disaster recovery for applications
• Hands on and proficient with UNIX/LINUX commands.
