Principal Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description:

An experienced Information security professional with a solid background in cloud security, incident response, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA),EDR and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools. The ideal candidate shall have at least five years of experience in cloud security with AWS cloud experience. He/She will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-class security solutions for ArisGlobal.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Security Management:

• Design, Implement, and Monitor and Manage Security solutions of ArisGlobal.
• Ensure compliance with Security standards and Industry best practices.
• Conduct regular Security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in the system and device a plan for the mitigation.
• Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, HIPAA and GDPR Compliance and Standards.

Incident Response:

• Develop and maintain Incident response plans and procedures.
• Lead and coordinate Incident response efforts for security related events.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.

Collaboration and Training:

• Work closely with different stakeholder such as DevOps, local IT, and development teams to integrate security solutions into all stages of SDLC.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on cloud security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies and Continuously evaluate and improve the security posture of ArisGlobal cloud.
• Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.

Experience:

• Total 4 to 7 years of experience in IT with minimum of 3+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Security
• Proven experience in incident response, including developing and executing response plans.
• In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and its implementation in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Rapid7,etc.,)

Certifications:(Preferred):

• AWS Certified
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
