ArisGlobal is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who also maintains a background/experience across the other specialties. The ideal candidate is someone who has worked in software development, SaaS and the life sciences who is also an expert in communication and understands analytically how to shape new business and how to push for existing business to grow.

The ideal Sales Development Representative will maintain a qualified sales pipeline VIA a combination of outbound activities, lead nurturing and deal qualification. The SDR role serves an important function within our business development process, anchoring our “inside sales” team, and offering daily interactions with account executives, marketing, and product management. The SDR has a knack for building strong relationships with prospects and will be an someone who has strength in the method of consultative selling. This individual will also maintain comfort within the fast-paced, start-up-like environment, where they do well because it is stressful and quick. In addition, someone who has a deep interest in developing their skills in prep for a future career as an Account Executive will do well here.



  • Develop and qualify leads and interested prospects, assessing their needs, and turning them into real opportunities
  • Oversee initial sales cycle, building strong relationships w/ interested prospects, understanding requirements, positioning AG's product portfolio
  • Provide integrated, cross-platform solutions
  • Manage business relationships to ensure that the clients' needs, and requirements are met
  • Serve as an advocate for Sales while collaborating with the other teams
  • Work closely with ArisGlobal account executives, handing off qualified leads and supporting the downstream sales process
  • Anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore, and uncover the business needs of key clients
  • Understand how our range of product offerings can grow key clientele business
  • Manage and log activities in for proper opportunity tracking
  • Develop consultative selling skills via a combination of training and on the job experience
  • Serve as a strong team player, mentoring junior team members


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, related; 4-yr University/College required
  • 3-5 years in a Sales Development or Inside Sales role focused on Information Technology or Enterprise Software in a B2B context
  • SaaS/Life Sciences industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with lead and deal qualification and a deep understanding of the enterprise software sales cycle
  • Experience working directly with marketing and field sales teams to bring leads from interest to closure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – equally comfortable on the phone and email
  • Ability to effectively manage time and workload, work independently and multitask
  • Familiarity with or equivalent CRM and Microsoft Office suit
