Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Customer Communications Copywriter who specializes in email communications to join our team. As a Customer Communications Copywriter, your primary focus will be crafting engaging and persuasive email communications that effectively convey our operational programs, product communications, and brand voice to our customer base. Your words will play a vital role in informing our customers of key strategic ArisGlobal initiatives, delivering product release materials, and enhancing our overall customer’s experience.  

Responsibilities

  • Email Copywriting: Create compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of customer email communications such as promotional emails, transactional emails, and operational updates.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals, target customer segments, and key messaging themes.
  • Brand Voice: Maintain consistency in brand voice and tone throughout all customer communications, ensuring they reflect the brand's personality, values, and style guidelines.
  • Customer Segmentation: Understand customer segments and tailor email content to specific audiences, considering their preferences, needs, and behaviors.
  • Engagement Optimization: Craft subject lines, preview text, and call-to-action (CTA) copy to maximize open rates, click-through rates, and overall email engagement.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to optimize email copy and design, analyzing data and metrics to iterate on messaging strategies and improve performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and customer support, to gather information, insights, and feedback for effective copy development.
  • Copy Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit copy for accuracy, grammar, style, and overall quality, ensuring error-free and polished communications.
  • Industry Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging email marketing techniques to incorporate innovative strategies into email copy.
     

Your Experience

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a copywriter, preferably specializing in email marketing or customer communications for B2B SaaS organizations
  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that resonates with target audiences and drives desired actions.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of customer psychology, empathizing with customers' needs and motivations to create highly relevant and engaging content.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with Life Sciences or B2B SaaS organizations is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous proofreading and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
