Position Summary

The Senior International Statutory Accountant is a core member of the ArisGlobal Finance Team, with primary responsibility for Statutory Compliance for our International legal entities.

You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work closely and proactively with multiple functions across our organization. This position will be fully remote based in Ireland and reports to the International Controller.

Responsibilities

• Management of the Statutory financial statements process for our international entities, including.
  • Maintaining a plan that meets the reporting deadlines and tracks progress and cost.
  • Preparation of bridge from USGAAP to local statutory financials, including detailed balance sheet reconciliation and supporting schedules
  • Ensure data is ready for auditors resulting in an efficient audit process.
• Collaborate with the tax team in the annual tax compliance process while ensuring the Statutory financial requirements are met.
• Participate in M&A and tax planning or restructuring projects.
• Monitor external providers to ensure that all regulatory compliance requirements are completed timely and accurately.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline and automate procedures.
• Build collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Maximize the use of ERP systems for preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Monitor and access changes in local and global accounting standards, and prepare for adoption of same
• Track and file Statistical return for international entities

Your Experience

• Experienced in the preparation and audit of statutory financials statements across international,
• Big 4/Top 10 trained and/or industry experience with US-based multinational organization
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA)
• Stronge excel skills and experience of ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite)
• Strong project management skills proved by consistently meeting deadlines and effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Initiative-taking, with strong collaboration and communication skills, who also takes direction well.
