ArisGlobal is looking for a strong product management leader to come join a team of product managers and product owners in delivering world class pharmacovigilance software for the Life Sciences industry. We are looking for an experienced and outstanding leader who can help drive product strategy, and product planning for our LifeSphere Mutlivigilance product line. We are looking for an individual with strong product management experience developing solutions for life science or healthcare customers. The individual will report to the Vice President, Safety.


  • Work with leadership and key stakeholders to define, accelerate, and deliver on product strategy.
  • Develop compelling roadmap focusing on market problems that is validated with voice of customer.
  • Coordinate implementation of product & process improvements to deliver superior customer experience.
  • Represent ArisGlobal in conferences, customer, prospect, and partner meetings.
  • Be a change champion to lead the adoption of product management methodologies & agile processes.
  • Track competitive landscape and industry trends and pivot product strategy to develop and maintain product differentiation.
  • Define, track, and communicate key metrics and how the team are meeting objectives.
  • Communicate product strategy to every audience.


  • Undergraduate degree in technical field; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years in leadership positions
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business and proven success in B2B product initiatives & leadership.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the life science domain of Pharmacovigilance with knowledge of affiliate management, general data entry conventions, data analysis, compliance monitoring, dictionary management, coding conventions, aggregate report planning & preparations, and regulatory submissions (US & EU procedures)
  • Experience building and leading high performance product teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders to build support for team’s priorities across the company.
  • Able to distil product roadmap into relevant presentations depending on the audience.

Proven track record of building products for the Pharmacovigilance marketplace by understanding and anticipating key market trends and customer needs and requirements (both current customers and future,) and translating this into a cohesive, sound product roadmap. Understands both the technical end of building world class products, As well as the customer/commercial end, and can balance these requirements and dynamics into a competitive set of offerings that hits the marketplace at the right time.

Places the customer first in all discussions about product, pricing, positioning, and partnering. Is an excellent listener who understands that the customer will drive feature/function, and know to interpret and articulate customer needs and pain points. Can translate customer requirements into an actionable product roadmap where the critical new product features exceed customer expectations.


Subject Matter Expert

              Is an expert in the Lifesciences and  Pharmacovigilance domain industries and can translate that knowledge and experience into actionable real-time business results. Has sufficient technical depth to “talk the talk” with highly sophisticated buyers. Understands the market dynamics and tradeoffs between the competition and the industries they serve along with other partners and influencers and can parley that experience into a product roadmap the impacts the appropriate segment of the market.


Communication Skills

              Proven track record of positioning companies and products successfully in the marketplace in order to increase sales and awareness by an order of magnitude. Is equally as comfortable with articulating the vision and strategy across the following key stakeholders: investors, employees, customers, analysts, and partners on a global basis. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.  Displays a passion for technology and can get others excited about their function. Proven track record of clearly and effectively articulating through word and action the values and culture of the company.

My Ideal candidate

The successful candidate will possess 10+ years of experience in developing world-class cloud and on-premises pharmacovigilance safety products with 5+ years of experience in a product management leadership position. This will include building and managing the strategic roadmap for the product. S/he will have direct hands-on experience in the Healthcare and Lifesciences industries while also understanding how to pivot a company to more of a cloud environment. S/he must have a proven track-record of positioning and repositioning companies with the ability to penetrate the marketplace with new and exciting ideas and strategies to drive awareness and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have worked in a PE/Venture-backed company, understand the key drivers of this type of culture, and have been successful at launching new products and services into the Pharmacovigilance cloud industry.


In addition, they will have significant experience in a global company that is focused on bringing world-class products to market. S/he will have a passion for being hands-on leader who is not measured by the size of their team, but rather the impact on the customer, marketplace, and company.


The successful candidate will have worked through complex problems and is not afraid to get involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. They will a leader who can effectively state and defend his/her opinion to drive change and make decisions. They must aspire to be part of a winning culture where egos are checked at the door and bad news is delivered first. Finally, and most importantly, s/he must be passionate about  Pharmacovigilance and able to convey and articulate that passion across the industry.



  • Working in an agile development environment preferred.
  • Prior experience in Life Science industry strongly preferred.
