Position Summary

ArisGlobal is seeking a Principal Software Engineer, with prior experience in SaaS, and PaaS Management, to build, design and develop software for our cloud-based SaaS product. Our end-to-end drug development technology platform, LifeSphere®, uses artificial intelligence and cognitive computing to automate all core functions of the product lifecycle. This is an opportunity to work on a product that is undergoing tremendous growth and brings with it an opportunity to build out new architectures/products and solve scalability (and data!) challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop software for a multi-tier cloud-based product
• Perform as a lead developer on a specific area of product architecture
• Build all software following an Agile Software Development Lifecycle
• Work with stake holders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions
• Meet project timelines with quality deliverables utilizing best practices for test driven development
• Utilize modern technologies including Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Unit & automated-integration testing frameworks e.g. Selenium and Cucumber, CI/CD processes, AWS Cloud platforms, SQL/NoSQL databases, and UI frameworks.

Your Experience

• 8 to 15 years of software development experience utilizing Java
• Must have Microservice development experience using Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Unit testing & automated-integration testing.
• Familiar with UI technologies HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS  Experience with Unit & automated-integration testing frameworks, JUnit, Mockito, Selenium and Cucumber.
• Relational SQL or NoSQL database knowledge
• CI/CD experience and knowledge
• Modern UI Frameworks are a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience working in fast paced agile product development environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• AWS Expertise expected:
  • Solution Architecture experience with different AWS services. Experience implementing AWS Architecture best practices for application performance and security.
  • Expert user of S3, ElastiCache, Amazon Aurora, API Gateway, and Lambda.
  • Nice to have experience designing content management solutions using S3.
  • Basic knowledge expected on EC2, EBS, VPC, ELB, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, AWS, SQS, SWF, SNS, and ELK
